No parent listening right now is a stranger to putting their child first. And that’s what Marcia Thomas had to do at a very young age, when she became a teen mom.
She missed out on her high school graduation, and hasn’t put completing her education on the priority list for a long time. But now, at age 49, and appropriately on Mother’s Day weekend, Marcia’s ready to graduate college with a degree in psychology!
The best part? It it’s actually WITH her oldest daughter, Amanda!
They lined up their credits over the years to make sure they experienced graduation day together, and although it’s been a long time coming for Marcia I have a feeling she wouldn’t change this.
Congrats to her, and all parents who have returned to school!
