Russchanna McLeod from Charlotte wanted me to feature something really lovely that happened in her community to Kappon and Kelly Williams.
This couple is homeless, they live in a tent, and they decided to get married at the courthouse because they had no income to afford anything else. BUT when the “Hearts Beat As One” foundation found out about them, they kind of took over and made Kappon and Kelly’s dreams come true.
Everything was donated for a full traditional wedding- a dress, cake, a photographer, even masks! And a brewery offered their location.
On top of being very happy for the newlywed couple, with everything we are all going through as a nation it was nice to see people offer a helping hand to others in this way, and just make them so happy.
