Officer Buys Christmas Dinner For Two Women After They Attempt To Steal

You know that classic ethical question, “would you steal a loaf of bread to feed your hungry family?” Well if kind of came to life in today’s Feel Goods!

Massachusetts Officer Matt Lima responded to a call at a grocery store, where two women apparently went through the self-checkout isle and were bagging items they didn’t pay for.

They had two young kids with them, and when Officer Lima spoke with them apparently, they had fallen on hard times and were trying to provide a Christmas dinner for the children.Thankfully, Lima is an incredible person and also experienced food insecurity as a child, so instead of arresting them he used his own money to buy $250 in grocery gift cards for the women.

I know there is an exact dollar amount on what he did, but I also think it’s priceless. I say it all the time but if you have the power to help someone in need, please do so. You have no idea how far it will go!
