Bazzi Has Been 'Making Beats Every Day' While In Self Quarantine

Singer/songwriter, Bazzi joined Elvis Duran on the phone today to talk about music he's writing, and the world right now while he is self-quarantined.

On the couch, ice-coffee in hand, Bazzi breaks down what he's been up to since being in self-quarantine. When Elvis asks if he's been writing music with this free time Bazzi answers, "I’ve kind of... I've been making beats every day, and getting back to the roots of making it [music] blindly." Without any producers input or with a destination in mind, Bazzi has been making beats with "no exterior motive." He has also been tapping into other creative things like painting! Maybe him and Gandhi can collaborate on a painting together!?

When it comes to self-quarantine, Bazzi thinks "the world is going to make a much needed change after this." He continues, "We need to be grateful for our every day lives." He says when social distancing stops we will all be so grateful for the activities we aren't able to do now. "All the things we did all the time and never thought about how precious and awesome they are.... The simpler things are going to feel the way they should."

Bazzi has an awesome song Young And Alive is out now, and we can't wait to hear more from him this year! Maybe some of these quarantine beats can get released? Listen to his entire interview at Elvis Duran and the Morning Show above!
