Elvis Duran Makes $10,000 Donation To Puerto Rico Recovery

It's only been 24 hours since we've touched down in Puerto Rico, but it has to be one of our favorite trips we've ever done. We are here in San Juan to officially re-open the beloved, iconic Caribe Hilton. The hotel was built in 1946 and with such a rich history it was vital to get this hotel up and running again after the hurricanes.

Even though the news left the headlines, Puerto Rico still has a lot of work to be done. La Fondita De Jesus, is just one of many organizations here to help the people of Puerto Rico. One of their main missions is to provide services to the homeless from basic and essential services like food, hygiene, clothing to also help bring in external services for health. The organization also provides accessible permanent housing, training for employment, income opportunities and more.

The work that is being done is so important and that is why the Elvis Duran Show decided to donate $10,000 to the cause. Right now we are fortunate to be here, but there are many still on the island that need our help!
