While talking about his new book Where Do I Begin? Elvis chatted with the show about all the chapters he didn't get in, ones he may add to a second book. One of the stories that came up was the time Elvis got SO MAD he threw a microwave. Gandhi chimed in and mentioned a time she threw a stack of coasters at her boyfriend. So we had to ask... What was the most ridiculous item you've thrown while angry at someone or something? Turns out a lot of our listeners had a story....
One listener wrote to us saying, "Not my proudest moment, but I threw a grapefruit across my kitchen and it stuck in the wall. I just kind of stood there as the anger drained my body and turned into complete shock. I live in an older house and the walls aren’t drywall. Apparently it’s something much softer." Another listener wrote, "I threw a pizza across the room and it hit the ceiling fan where pieces of pizza toppings and sauce rained across the room. After having to clean EVERYTHING, I learned not to throw things out of anger, especially food!" However one story really 'stuck' with us (pun intended).
Listener Anastasia called in to tell a story about how her roommate got so angry once that she threw a DILDO at her. Not only that, when her roommate threw the dildo it stuck to Anastasia's head. Listen to the full story below!
