Barry Keoghan is feeling "blessed" amid his relationship with rumored girlfriend Sabrina Carpenter.

The Saltburn actor spoke a bit about the "Espresso" singer during a recent interview, laughing as he said he knew the questions about their romance were coming as he was asked flat-out, "Are you in a relationship with Sabrina Carpenter?" per People. While he played coy with his answer, he praised the rising star's talent, calling her "special."

"Listen, all I'm going to say is I'm incredibly blessed," he said. "Such a strong, independent lady who's massively talented and yeah. Pretty special."

Carpenter and Keoghan first sparked romance rumors in December 2023, and he even starred in the music video for her song "Please Please Please" as the musician praised her beau as being "the greatest actor" for the role. While the rumored couple have kept specifics about their relationship private, rumors began to spread in August that they had called it quits, with one source claiming the pair were "on and off." However, Keoghan seemingly shut down that speculation after leaving a cheeky comment on a post paying tribute to his girlfriend. He was even seen attending one of Carpenter's Short 'n Sweet tour shows last month where he had the best reaction to one of her flirty lyrics.

The Irish actor also recently hit back at haters and slammed accusations that he is a "deadbeat dad" to his 2-year-old son Brando, whom he shares with ex Alyson Sandro, blasting the "audacity of some people" who "love to use [his] son as ammunition."
