Elvis Duran Gives Away Norwegian Cruise Trip To Deserving Teacher

Government Plans Education Summit

Friday morning on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show we had a caller named Adam on-air with us. Adam is a computer teacher from St. Louis, MO and is in the middle of getting ready for his last day of school. Although he is sad the school year is over he is proud to celebrate that they were teaching in person for 175 days and never had to go virtual!

After hearing from Adam we decided to join Norwegian Cruise Line and gift a cruise to this well deserving teacher! Norwegian Cruise Line wants you to nominate or vote for a month long teacher appreciation by "giving joy" to educators across the US and Canada. The concept of what they're doing below!

We’re celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week all month long by “Giving Joy” to educators across the U.S. and Canada. In recognition of the countless teachers who have spent the last year giving their all to students during these unprecedented and challenging times, we’ll be awarding 100 teachers with free cruises for a long-overdue vacation, as well as awarding the top three Grand Prize winners with a $25,000, $15,000 or $10,000 cash prize respectively for their schools.
Nominate a teacher who demonstrates passion for bringing joy to the classroom (or, if you are an educator, nominate yourself!). Tell us how your candidate works tirelessly to overcome the new educational demands and how they continue to inspire their students every day (whether virtually or in person). Then, cast your vote and share your submission on social media to encourage others to participate in giving joy.
