Restaurant Owner Buys Out Street Vendor's Food To Help Feed Homeless

Liza Sandoval sent me a GREAT story about business helping business.

Chicago restaurant owner Robert Magiet I’m sure is facing harder times, just like all restaurants, BUT helping others with even more difficulty, is still one of his top priorities.

He’s fed hundreds for free throughout the pandemic but lately, every morning for 2 weeks, Robert walks around and buys out tamale street vendors! He wants them out of this terrible cold, and to still have the income they need.

Robert gets financial help from the community through donations, and brings the tamales to homeless shelters as well as public refrigerators for people going through food insecurity.

If you want to support Robert his restaurant is TaKorea Cocina!
