Listener Daniel K sent me a great story coming out of Oregon!
Michael Webber and his team of vaccine administers were on their way to administer their last doses, when they hit some major traffic.
Roads closed due to an accident, leaving them probably stuck for hours, and they didn’t have long before their batch of vaccines expired.
Thankfully, Michael had a great idea- instead of tossing the 6 vaccines, he trekked through the snow and knocked on the windows of other stuck drivers, offering it to them! There was even an ambulance that made the trip with them, just in case someone had an allergy.
Michael said the recipients were ecstatic, and that he couldn’t imagine a better way to spend 4 hours stuck in a snowstorm.
What a lovely idea!!!
