Justin Walsh sent me the cutest thing that happened at Continental Manor Nursing Home in Ohio.
We know all nursing homes have been hit hard from this pandemic, these poor residents can’t even see their family members unless it’s safely and through a glass window. So the activity director at Continental came up with a great idea to lift their resident’s spirits!
They created a makeshift forest of faux Christmas trees, put antlers on employees, and had them dodge from tree to tree as residents shot nerf guns to hunt them from across the room.
It. Is. ADORABLE!
And not only did the residents get to enjoy the activity, but when the story blew up over the weekend they got excited AGAIN and they were all calling family members to brag about it, which is equally as cute.
