Michael Belliveau sent me this story and if this isn’t a “Feel Goods,” I don’t know what is!
21-year-old Chris Nikic completed his first Ironman, which consists of a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride, AND a full marathon run of 26.2 miles.
As if that is not impressive enough, he’s the first person to ever do it with Down syndrome!
Chris truly is an amazing guy- he wrote that in the days leading up, doctors said he probably wouldn’t be able to do it, and he was so happy to prove him wrong. So congratulations to Chris, and thank you for being an example of dedication and hard work!
