Dolly Parton Reveals Which Song From ‘Holly Dolly Christmas’ Makes Her Cry

Dolly Parton joined Elvis Duran and the Morning Show today to talk about her first holiday album in 30 years, Holly Dolly Christmas!

Parton worked on the album completely during in quarantine with a determination to be productive and bring holiday cheer to a year that really needs it. The singer-songwriter told Elvis Duran which Christmas songs bring tears to her eyes every time she performs them,

"I really love all those beautiful songs like 'Little Town Of Bethlehem' and 'Silent Night.' I can just picture those songs and the sweetness of that. On my new album, one that brought me to tears while I was singing it and has since it came out a few years ago is 'Mary, Did You Know.' That song really pulls at me and while I was recording it, I had tears and was emotional. I think that shows in my voice.

Holly Dolly Christmas features collaborations with Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Fallon, Michael Bublé, BIlly Ray Cyrus, Willie Nelson and more. The album features mix of original songs and covers of holiday classics.
