Today I want to feature a story Bekki Newhart whom is very proud of officer Joseph Puglia from her area of Pinellas Park, Florida.
Officer Puglia was patrolling on a busy highway, when he noticed a dog laying ON the highway! The poor baby was in the left-hand lane, aka the fast lane, and seemed to have been hit by a car!
Putting worry about his wellness aside, the officer ran out to this dog who was clearly in need of some help, he was at risk of getting hit again or frankly just dying right there. The officer wrapped the pup in a blanket, and decided to bring her to the local animal shelter.
Her name is now Lucy, she made a full recovery thanks to Officer Puglia and the time her got her medical help, and soon after found her forever home!
