The Drew Barrymore Show premiered on September 14th and is the latest project from actress Drew Barrymore.
The Santa Clarita Diet star, came on the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show Monday, September 21st to talk about what she hopes for the show as well as what it's going to be like having her ex-husband, Tom Green on this Thursday.
As far as 2020 goes, Barrymore says it's time where we are 'rethinking everything as we know it." Therefore, she is making sure this moment on the show 'we're just as inclusive, all ages party here." Barrymore continues, "I have always just been someone who doesn't stand on soap boxes and I want this to be a place where we have heart and humor." Barrymore makes a promise to us and the viewers of this show saying, "I promise to always be myself, because I fail at every other turn. I’m utterly myself and I’ll always keep leading that charge."
When asked about having her ex-husband, Tom Green on the show this Friday, September 25th, Barrymore admits she hasn't spoken to him in years: "We hadn’t talked in many years...... I want to have a check in with someone that I think very highly of." She continues, "It was time for us to check in and see what each other’s up to. With Tom you just never know what’s going to happen."
