Fred Rogers was known as the beloved host of the children’s show “Mister Rodgers’ Neighborhood,” but his wife reveals he had an interesting way of keeping her entertained during boring events.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Joanne Rogers revealed that her late husband enjoyed passing gas in public to amuse her.
Joanne said that Mr. Rogers’ fame brought them to a countless number of entertainment events- which could sometimes be a snooze fest. Fred Rogers soon developed a way to keep things entertaining for his wife: He’d let out a fart.
In the interview, Joanne said that “He would just raise one cheek and he would look at me and smile.” Joanne said that just the thought of her husband “ripping one” just to make her laugh.
The new interview with the Los Angeles Times celebrates the life of the late Fred Rogers and his relationship with his wife Joanne.
