According to a recent report by WalletHub, Florida is ranked number one as the best state for singles. From its beautiful beaches to its amazing restaurants to its amusements parks, there's something for every kind of single person looking to find their match!
In its most recent report WalletHub compared all 50 states between three different categories:
1. Dating Economics (Movie costs, average beer and wine price, unemployment rate for single population)
2. Dating Opportunities (Share of single adults, gender balance of singles, online dating opportunities)
3. Romance & Fun (restaurants per capita, nightlife options per capita, and crime rate)
California, Texas, and New York are tied with Florida for the most restaurants per capita while Delaware has the fewest restaurants. Florida is also ranked number 4 for "Romance & Fun," number 33 for "Dating Economics" and number 3 for "Dating Opportunities."
Overall, the top 10 states for singles are as follows:
1. Florida
2. California
3. Texas
4. New York
5. Pennsylvania
6. Ohio
7. Illinois
8. Wisconsin
9. Massachusetts
10. Michigan
