Here Is The Proper Time To Wait Before Talking About New TV Shows & Movies

Premiere Of Netflix's "Stranger Things" Season 3 - Arrivals

Stranger Things 3, Avengers: Endgame, Grey's Anatomy.... there are so many new series and movies out this year that we are left wondering what the proper time is to start talking about these releases without spoiling it. In this day and age it seems impossible to be able to wait to see a movie before the whole thing gets spoiled online. Media companies having to put "warning spoilers" before tweets and articles. #DontSpoilEndGame even started trending worldwide after Marvel released a statement begging fans not to spoil the movie for their fans. So what is the proper amount of time to wait before you can talk about these major pop culture releases?

A new survey from CBS asked 2000 UK residents, 16 and over, how long people should hold off on talking and spilling the tea on plot-twists and major moments in recent movies or TV series. According to the survey, 33 hours is a proper time to wait after a TV episode airs, and 10 days after a film is released.

Of course 33 hours, isn't really enough for a TV series that gets released all at once like Stranger Things... so we'll have to come up with another timeline for TV shows that get a season released all at once.
