Ellie Goulding dropped by Elvis Duran and the Morning Show to perform her new single, "Close to Me," with Diplo and featuring Swae Lee. It's Goulding and Diplo's second collaboration, following their 2015 song, "Powerful," from Major Lazer.
Ellie is back in the studio after taking a well-deserved break and is currently working on her fourth studio album. All three of her albums, "Lights" (2010), "Halcyon" (2012), "Delirium" (2015) have gone platinum in the United States.
The 31-year-old Brit recently announced her engagement to art dealer Caspar Jopling, but told Elvis Duran that for now, she won't be writing any songs about him.
"I predict that [getting married] won't change my writing. I find him kind of a sacred thing that I don't want to put into a song. I don't know why. Maybe I will at some point. Sometimes when I play my songs, he like, 'Who's that about? Who's that about?' So I think secretly he wants me to write a song about him at some point," Goulding joked about her fiance Caspar.
