Elvis Duran Makes Major Donation Announcement For Breast Cancer Awareness

Elvis Duran Makes Major Announcement For Breast Cancer Awareness

In honor of October's Breast Cancer Awareness month, Elvis Duran announced that he'll be donating $1,000 daily to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. In the past, Elvis Duran and the Morning show have raised money for the cause by selling listener designed t-shirts during the namesake month.

Turning the microphone to his producer Samantha Rosalie, who is in charge of the morning show's charity partnerships, she announced that the recipient of Duran's $31,000 donation would be the Breast Cancer Research Foundation

"I know there are many who are very worthy, but we can only choose one breast cancer-focused organization. [This one] is highly rated and does a lot of great things for a lot of great people," Elvis said about the show's thought process when choosing an organization to receive the donation.

Known for their monetary transparency, 25+ years of service to the cancer research community, and funding of 300 researchers across 14 countries, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation is one of the most highly rated non-profits with 88.7% of all donations going directly to research and awareness programs.
