Over twenty years ago, they put a spell on us- now we are totally here for the rumored sequel!
Mick Garris, the writer of the original live-action Halloween Disney film, teased that the script for a TV movie sequel to the cult classic is probably in the works. The original film focused on three witches known as the Sanderson Sisters (and played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy) who kill children. No details yet on what the new plot will be but it will supposedly star the same leading ladies!
Garris hints that the new TV movie will likely be developed and released for Freeform, Disney Channel, and/or ABC.
Looks like Halloween has come early for you and your favorite "idiot sisters!"
