After delivering two incredible performances of “This Town” and "Slow Hands" in the Elvis Duran Performing Arts Center, Niall Horan opened up to us about his love of golf!
He used to be an avid soccer player, but after getting knee surgery at the age of 20-years-old, he started taking golf seriously! He spoke about his days with One Direction and how golf was the only way to get away.
"We'd be touring and there'd be thousands and thousands of people outside the hotel, so me and Harry [Styles] used to just go and play golf! And obviously, people don't want to be walking around a golf course with ya!"
Niall revealed that he finds golf to be meditative and the inconsistency makes him come back to play another round every time.
The Irish charmer also gave us some insight into his debut untitled LP. "I thought I finished the album at Christmas, [but] I ended up writing 'Slow Hands' in February and I just kept going. I just couldn't stop," he told us.
No release date is set for Niall’s debut album. However, he says we should expect it sometime in the fall. "I'll be telling you first!" Niall joked with Elvis Duran.
