VH1 Save The Music is excited to announce announces a one-night only benefit concert celebrating the music of global superstar George Michael. Radio personality Elvis Duran will host this special event taking place on April 24th at the Highline Ballroom inNew York City. The evening features an all-star lineup of artists performing the greatest hits ofGeorge Michael backed by an orchestra. Tickets are on sale today and can be purchased athttp://on.vh1.com/gottahavefaith.The night will feature performances from Erich Bergen (Madam Secretary, Jersey Boys), JavierMuñoz (currently starring as Hamilton on Broadway), Emmy-Nominee Tituss Burgess (The UnbreakableKimmy Schmidt), Cheyenne Jackson (American Horror Story), as well as recording artists Eric Hutchinson and Jon McLaughlin. Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks. Each of the artists will take the stage to celebrate the legendary career of theGrammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, which spanned more than 20 years and sold over 80million records as half of the group Wham! and as a solo performer. George Michael was one of the leading artists in the 1980s and 1990s, and leaves the world and his fans with memories through his music.Advanced tickets for the event are $40 for General Admission and $75 for VIP Admission, which includes a poster signed by the artists. Proceeds from the ticketed event will benefit VH1Save The Music’s efforts to restore school music programs nationwide.
