Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez already separated and moved out of their Beverly Hills mansion before they filed for divorce in August, and the Argo star hasn't "looked back" since.
A source recently told People that the silver screen king is actually quite happy and has a lot to focus on amid legal proceedings, sharing that he is: "very focused on work and his kids. He's staying busy and happy."
The "On The Floor" songstress filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20th, (exactly two years to the date of their extravagant Georgia wedding ceremony in 2022) while he was moving his daughter, Violet, into college.
Their joint property is currently up for sale as legalities pertaining to their finances are untangled. The former pair did not sign a prenup when they were married, meaning that each stars' earnings within that time are considered "community property."
In September, Page Six predicted that the divorce could get ugly as their earnings were severely unbalanced, with J Lo obtaining over $250 million more than Affleck during their union.
Lopez opened up about being newly-single in an October 9th chat with Interview Magazine, relaying that she feels "free" for the first time in a long time.
"Now I’m excited, when you say you’re just going to be on your own. Yes, I’m not looking for anybody, because everything that I’ve done over the past 25, 30 years, being in these different challenging situations, what can I f****** do when it’s just me flying on my own ... what if I'm just free?"
Affleck has yet to offer a public statement regarding his split from the Maid In Manhattan standout.
