Vince Vaughn & Owen Wilson In Talks For A 'Wedding Crashers' Sequel

Good news, everybody—more Wedding Crashers could be on the way.

On Wednesday (November 4), Vince Vaughn confirmed he's in talks to make a sequel to the beloved 2005 comedy during a chat with Entertainment Tonight. And, yes, his co-star Owen Wilson is also part of the discussions.

"Owen and I and the director of Crashers have been talking for the first time seriously [about] a sequel to that movie," Vaughn revealed. "So there has been an idea that is pretty good. So we are talking about that in the early stages."

The film, which also starred Rachel McAdams, Isla Fisher and Bradley Cooper, followed lifelong best friends Jeremy (Vaughn) and John (Wilson) who spend their free time crashing wedding receptions. Their carefree lifestyle changes when they decide to crash the wedding of the Secretary of the Treasury William Cleary's daughter. Things get complicated when Jeremy and John fall for the bride's sisters.

"They were fun movies to make," Vaughn said of his time filming Wedding Crashers, as well as other classics like Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Zoolander. "It's always fun to make people laugh and go to work with people that are funny."

As of now, not much else is known about the potential Wedding Crashers sequel. Let's keep our fingers crossed this follow up crashes movie theaters one day.
