As we all already know, there have been HUGE layoffs happening within the Disney theme parks, and what’s worse than my concern for us to visit the most magical fun place in the world….is my concern for the well-being of those employees.
Well, thankfully listener Jason Kiser has brought to my attention that they have a couple guardian angels looking over them!
Sarah and Tom Bricker have had their own Disney blog for almost 10 years not, and decided to use their loyal Disney-loving audience to try and get these laid off employees some help.
They created a virtual fundraising drive for Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, which has been helping to feed the “miles long lines” of Floridians affected by the pandemic.Their goal was to raise $2,000……within 24 hours they reached $37,000!
They food bank is helping all laid of Disney employees, and it’s so nice to know the magic they brought to so many people has come back to them in their time of need.
