Kanye West has recognize the consequences of his actions in revealing private family matters.
On Sunday (July 26), the rapper, 43, took to Twitter to send a public apology to wife Kim Kardashian, 39, admitting his mistake in unveiling personal matters with the world. "I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter. I did not cover her like she has covered me," he told his 30.6 million followers. The star followed up the sentiment, adding, "Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me."
After his recent public outbursts, reports circulated that West and Kardashian had been in talks to divorce for quite some time. Yet, another insider close to PEOPLE recently revealed that the star "seems much more relaxed and chilled out for the past couple of days." Additionally, the source said that he has come to regret "sharing such private details" about his wife at his presidential campaign rally in South Carolina. "He definitely understands that he upset Kim," the source continued. "He feels very bad about it. It's obvious that he still loves Kim,” the insider revealed.
As you know, West went viral when his reported bi-polar episode prompted him to reveal candid details about the pair’s relationship, including their thoughts on aborting their first child, North West. Afterward, West claimed that the E! reality star tried to fly to his estate with a doctor to "lock [him] up." "Kim tried to bring a doctor to lock me up with a doctor," he tweeted. "If I get locked like Mandela Y’all will know why." Over the weekend, it was reported that the two have had little communication as he refused to see Kardashian in her multiple attempts to visit his Wyoming ranch.
