She's BACK! Lady Gaga has returned to pop in all of her pink haired glory with a brand new dance floor bop, "Stupid Love."
Produced by BloodPop® and French producer/DJ Tchami, "Stupid Love" takes fans back to the dance anthems from earlier on in her career as she brings her new music into 2020. In the new song, Lady G sings about falling for someone, and just wanting their "stupid love."
In the second verse of the track she says, "Now, it's time to free me from the chain/ I gotta find that peace, is it too late or/ Could this love protect me from the pain?/ I would battle for you (Even if I break in two)."
"Stupid Love" also comes with an intergalactic music video, which the superstar teased to fans earlier this week. In the visual, directed by Daniel Askill and shot completely on an iPhone 11 Pro, Mother Monster is seen what looks like an uninhabited planet as she dances with groups dressed in different colors. The beginning of the visual reads, "The world rots in conflict. Many tribes battle for dominance. While the Spiritual ones pray and sleep for peace, the Kindness punks fight for Chromatica..."
The word "Chromatica" is shown several times throughout the "Stupid Love" music video, and Gaga even used the hashtag #Chromatica on social media, which has fans speculating that this is her new album's title for LG6.
Aside from her music from A Star Is Born and 2017 single "The Cure," "Stupid Love" is Lady Gaga's first new music since her last album, 2016's Joanne. Details on a new album from Gaga are not yet known, but — like many Little Monsters out there — we are ready for it!
