Prince William and Kate Middleton are so excited about Baby Sussex's arrival. Following the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son on Monday (May 6), William and Kate released a short statement on their Instagram account that left royal well-wishers wanting for more. "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the news of the birth of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's son today, and look forward to meeting the latest addition to the family," their brief message read. During a royal engagement on Tuesday (May 7), it became clear that William and Kate truly are delighted by the happy news.

While chatting with a reporter, William said he was “absolutely thrilled” for Meghan and Harry. If his words weren't sweet enough, the big smile on the Duke's face really says it all. He and Kate said they're “looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quieted down" and even joked he's "very pleased and glad to welcome my brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting!”

When asked if he had any advice for his younger brother, William laughed and said: “Plenty of advice. I wish him all the best, and I hope the next few days they can settle down and enjoy having a newborn in the family and all the joys that come with it that.”

Kate jumped in then, reminding everyone why “it’s such a special time" for the new parents. "Louis and Charlotte just having had their birthdays – it’s such a great time of the year to have a baby," Kate continued. "Spring’s in the air, so it’s really great. As William said, look forward to meeting him and finding out what his name’s going to be. It’s really exciting for both of them. These next few weeks, it’s always a bit daunting first time around so wish them all the best.”

Harry and Meghan decided to keep their birth plans pretty private, so, there's yet to be any official photos of the newborn royal just yet. Harry did reveal the press would be invited back to Windsor Castle on Wednesday (May 8) to meet their little one. According to Harry, his son is "absolutely to die for." We can't wait to meet Baby Sussex...and learn his name!
