Jane the Married Woman!
On Monday (May 6), Gina Rodriguez, of Jane the Virgin fame, confirmed she tied the knot with her longtime love Joe LoCicero over the weekend. The actress, who celebrated her union Saturday (May 4), announced her nuptials on Instagram with an intimate video montage of the outdoor ceremony showing the newlyweds' journey down the aisle, as well as moments from Gina and Joe's beautiful reception.
In the caption of the clip, the actress writes: “‘With that one kiss we got 100 new family members’ my 9 year old niece, Mia. Thank you to my mother in law for the wedding of my dreams. And the village that helped her! Special thank you to our soul brother @justinbaldoni and my new brother for singing me down the aisle Michael LoCicero @mikelosaurusrex."
"May 4th 2019 was absolute MAGIC," Gina continued, closing with: "To my husband Joseph, I am yours forever." According to PEOPLE, Gina went with a silk Pronovias Ribelia mermaid gown for her wedding day that featured spaghetti straps and a draped neckline. (See it in the clip below!)
The 34-year-old first confirmed her engagement to LoCicerco in August 2018 after the pair celebrated her birthday in Mexico, where the actor popped the question. The twosome, who forged a romance in 2016 when the 32-year-old was cast as Gina's on-screen love interest on Jane the Virgin, made their relationship official over a Christmas getaway to Thailand shortly after.
