Kim Kardashian Says She Wouldn't 'Use Privilege' To Get Kids Into College

In light of Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman's recent accusations of paying their children's ways into prestigious colleges, Kim Kardashian is weighing in on the scandal.

During an interview with CNN's Van Jones, the mother of three (soon to be four) proclaimed that she would never use her privilege to help attain college admission for her children. "If they couldn't get into a school, I would never want to use privilege to try to force them into a situation that they wouldn't thrive in anyway," she explained to Van. "That's what I see is not appropriate."

In fact, she hopes that being born into a rich celebrity family doesn't affect her kids too much. "I want my kids to be as grounded as possible," she said. "To buy your way into something just wouldn't benefit anybody."

The 38-year-old recently announced she's studying to become a lawyer and is hoping to take the Bar exam in 2022. "Even though I'm in my late 30s and I'm just finishing college or attempting to do that now, it's never too late," she said in hopes she can set a good example for her children.

Loughlin recently pled not guilty to multiple criminal charges, including money laundering, and could face 20 years in prison if convicted. Huffman confessed to paying $15,000 in bribes to boost her daughter's SAT scores. Her plea deal includes a maximum of just four months jail time.
