Kylie Jenner made a shocking revelation about her daughter's name during an Instagram Live on Tuesday (March 12). While it's impossible to imagine Kylie's mini-me being named anything other than Stormi now, the 21-year-old makeup mogul told fans she almost chose something totally different for her daughter's name. Her runner up choice is, surprisingly, very normal.
"One name I will tell you guys, because I don't think I'm ever going to name my daughter this (another daughter), but I wanted to name her Rose," Kylie said. Rose! A great choice, obviously, but it's definitely more common than most of the Kardashian-Jenner kiddos names, such as North, Saint, Chicago, Dream, True and Reign.
"Shout-out to everyone named Rose," Kylie continued, explaining that the flower-inspired name was actually her third choice for Stormi. Her second choice is still in the running, though, for any future daughters she may have.
This news about Stormi's name isn't too surprising because she's previously opened up about how she changed her daughter's name at the last minute. "Travis [Scott] thinks that he thought of Stormi [but] it was me," Kylie explained. "I remember the whole thing, but he swears he made her name up. I was just looking [up] nature names, like weather, earth-inspired... Storm was on there, just Storm, and I was kind of like, 'I want an i-e, like me.' So then I did Stormie, i-e... And then it was always Stormie with an i-e."
"I wanted her to have a week with just me and her to see if I wanted to change it because I had one other name in mind, but Stormi always felt like her name from when she was in the womb. It's almost like she chose her name. So then, when they called me from the birth certificate office and I was finalizing the name, they were like, 'How do you want to spell it?' And I was Like, 's-t-o-r-m-i.' And they were like, 'are you sure?' And I was like, 'yeah, just an i,'" she continued.
Imagine if we lived in a world where Kylie named her daughter Rosi Webster instead of Stormi Webster? Wild!
