BTS Are Releasing A Doll Collection With Mattel This Summer

The boys of BTS are getting the toy treatment!

Over the weekend, Mattel announced a new collaboration with the K-pop band's label Big Hit Entertainment for an upcoming doll collection. The project, which arrives this summer, was first unveiled at the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair this past Sunday (January 6) and later confirmed on Twitter.

"Mattel, @bts_bighit & @BigHitEnt are bringing #BTSDollsOfficial to millions around the world! Follow us for #BTSxMattel updates. #BTS," Mattel tweeted on their official account.

According to a press release, all seven members of the group — RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook — will have a doll of their own, each of which will be dressed in looks from the band's "IDOL" music video. Additionally, given the group's success of selling out tours around the world, this new partnership also entails "collectible figures, games, and more" items are in the works.

In a statement, Mattel's SVP & Global Brand GM Sejal Shah Miller said of the venture:
