Madonna Reveals New Album Releases In 2019

It's been a while but Madonna is finally returning with new music.

On Monday (October 1), while promoting her unisex MDNA Skin cosmetics brand, the legendary pop star revealed in a phone conversation with WWD that she's quietly been putting the finishing touches on something even more refreshing.

“I’m finishing my record, which I’m going to release next year,” the Material Girl told the publication. “Yep, in between rose mist spray and serums, I’m actually making music. Can’t quit my day job.”

While the arrival date is a ways away, we can only imagine the number of bops the Queen of Pop has been resting on for all these years.

As you know, the "Papa Don't Preach" musician hasn't released another full-length since 2015's Rebel Heart, which generated vivacious jams like "Living For Love" and the Chance the Rapper-assisted anthem "Iconic."

In its run from September 2015 through March 2016, Madonna's "Rebel Heart Tour" sold over 1 million tickets and grossed $169.8 million, extending her status as the top-grossing solo artist to gross $1.31 billion. To date, the "Like A Virgin" singer-songwriter ranks above Bruce Springsteen ($1.25 billion) and Elton John ($1.05 billion) on Billboard's all-time highest-grossing Boxscore list, coming behind The Rolling Stones ($1.84 billion) and U2 ($1.67 billion).
