BTS will make history by becoming the first Korean act to perform a stadium show in the United States, as per their tour promoter's new announcement about their upcoming October 6 concert at New York City's Citi Field.
Local Love Yourself tour promoter Powerhouse Live broke the news on Wednesday night (August 8), sharing details of the show, which will end the North American leg of their world tour. News of the history-in-the-making concert comes after the K-Pop sensation sold out a number of shows in the United States and Canada. As per Powerhouse, Citi Field has a capacity of 40,000 seats, so it will be the largest concert ever put on Stateside by any Korean act. Tickets for the show go on sale next Friday (August 17) at 4 PM ET, a week before their new album Love Yourself: Answer drops on August 24.
Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM (formerly known as Rap Monster), Jimin, V and Jungkook still have quite a handful of shows left before the Citi Field date, including stops in Los Angeles, Oakland, Fort Worth, Hamilton, Newark, and Chicago. Scroll on below to see a full list of tour dates!
