Demi Lovato made sure to end the Stateside leg of her "Tell Me You Love Me World Tour" on a high note when she got as close as can be with her opening act Kehlani on Monday night (April 2).
At the Newark date of the trek, Kehlani surprised the former Disney star when she appeared on a rotating bed and planted a kiss on Lovato as she performed her Lil Wayne-assisted "Lonely." After that, Lovato went with the flow by straddling the star on the moving prop and giving the audience one heck of a show. It ended with the girls offering big smiles and giggles, but we all know the audience probably reacted with far more OMG-worthy responses.
Later on, Kehlani took to Instagram to admit that it was Lovato's dancers that put her up to the task, gushing that it was a dream to get to do the tour with Lovato. "Twas a dream getting to do this tour with you. Watching you every night was a learning experience and you forever have a fan and supporter in me," she captioned a pair of them on the bed. "Tonight your dancers put me up to this but anyone would be stupid not to jump at the chance to hop on that damn moving bed and grab your face looooool. i love you and appreciate you, beautiful. cheers to you, more life and success on the rest of the legs of this tour."
Meanwhile, Lovato also shared the photo, writing, "Truly so grateful to have had this extremely special, talented and cool as f**k woman on this tour with me.. What an incredible fun sexy crazy night that I’ll never forget!!"
