Ariana Grande Loses The Ponytail For 'British Vogue': See Her Glam Shot

Fresh off her performance at our 2018 iHeartRadio Wango Tango, Ariana Grande has been unveiled as the new cover girl for British Vogue's July issue, as per an announcement on Monday (June 4).

For the dazzling cover, which was photographed by Craig McDean and styled by Kate Phelan with hair by Chris Appleton and makeup by Mark Carrasquillo, the pop star rocks some blonde locks in a Chanel autumn/winter 2018 lace dress. The issue, which hits newsstands on Friday, will see the pop darling reflect on her monumental 2017 and the tragic attack at her Manchester Arena show on May 22, 2017.

"It's hard to talk about because so many people have suffered such severe, tremendous loss. But, yeah, it's a real thing," she said about the attack in the cover story preview. "I know those families and my fans, and everyone there experienced a tremendous amount of it as well. Time is the biggest thing. I feel like I shouldn't even be talking about my own experience – like I shouldn't even say anything. I don't think I'll ever know how to talk about it and not cry."

Elsewhere in the issue, Grande previewed her upcoming album, Sweetener, and opened up about her battle with anxiety. "I think a lot of people have anxiety, especially right now," she admitted. "My anxiety has anxiety… I've always had anxiety. I've never really spoken about it because I thought everyone had it, but when I got home from tour it was the most severe I think it's ever been. . . .Everybody thought I was crazy when I got home and wanted to hit the ground running."
