World Record for 'Snaps In A Minute' Broken By Japanese Student (VIDEO)

Japanese student Satoyuki Fujimura broke the world record for 'snaps per minute' on TV!

Tantei! Knight Scoop, a Friday night television show in Japan, aired Fujimura breaking the world record as a live audience watched!

Of course, a Guinness World Record judge was in attendance to officiate the event.

After the minute was over, the judge watched a recording of the attempt in slow motion alongside two professional sound engineers to ensure that only audible clicks made using the thumb and middle finger would be included in the final total.

Fujimura finished with 296 finger snaps in a minute, setting the new record for the first time in eight years. The previous record holder was Jens Gudmandsen from Sweden with 278.
