Britney Spears is breaking her silence after an alleged fight with her rumored boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz, resulted in paramedics arriving on scene, a situation for which she is seemingly blaming her mother, Lynne Spears.
Spears and Soliz reportedly got into an altercation at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood Wednesday (May 1) night that saw paramedics called to the scene around 1 a.m. Thursday, Page Six reports. Sources claim responders were called after the rumored couple got into a fight, and he Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed they received a call about an injured woman, though they didn't give any specifics.
However, the "Toxic" singer, who is reported to be "home and "safe," said she injured herself in a more embarrassing way, taking to her Instagram on Thursday to show a video of her swollen and bruised foot.
"I really twisted my ankle last night like an idiot — just to show proof," she said in the video. "It's so bad. F---ing idiot here tries to do a leap in the living room of the Chateau, and I fell — embarrassed myself — and that's it."
She then addressed how first responders arrived on the scene, which she said was "unnecessary." While she claims they "never came in my room," she feels "completely harassed" either way, per E! News.
"Paramedics came to my door immediately. Of course, cause this huge scene, which was so unnecessary, and all I needed was ice," she said. "It's pretty bad, but s--- happens."
In the caption of the video, Spears called out her mother, Lynne, for somehow being involved in the incident even though she said they haven't talked in months. It is unclear whether she is blaming her mom for calling the paramedics or leaking news of the incident.
"I know my mom was involved !!! I haven't talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out," she said. "I was set up just like she did way back when !!! I wish I had grandparents !!! I can't stand her !!!"
The latest incident comes days after Spears finalized her divorce from Sam Asghari, eight months after the exes split when Asghari filed for divorce in August 2023.
