Niall Horan Performs Touching Piano Rendition Of A Billie Eilish Song

Niall Horan has decided to wreck my day in the best way possible.

On Sunday (September 29), the 26-year-old singer took to his Instagram Stories to post a series of clips covering “when the party’s over” by Billie Eilish and it could very well be one of the greatest covers ever. Oh, yeah… did I mention it was also on the piano?! *deep breaths*

While the clips are only about a minute long, the mini-performance is a powerful one. Horan effortlessly belts out the beginning of the song and the chorus as he casually plays the piano while wearing sunglasses inside (because of course) and can we talk about his thighs… I digress.

I truly did not know I needed to hear this cover until he posted it. Niall Horan everyone, the gift that keeps on giving.

Fans shouldn't be too surprised at the cover given the singer has praised the 17-year-old countless times. “I love Billie Eilish,” he said during an Instagram Live in March. “Her lyrics are incredible, some of the best I've heard.”

Last week, the “Slow Hands” singer announced his first single, “Nice To Meet Ya” off his highly-anticipated second album. The song is due out this Friday (October 4) and the album date has yet to be announced. Since the song announcement, he's been teasing fans on Instagram with snippets of the instrumental parts of the song and bits of lyrics in the caption — which include, “I want your number tattooed on my arm in ink I swear” and “I like the way you talk.”

For more on Niall Horan, you can see him on select dates on our upcoming 2019 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour, which will also see performances from Taylor Swift (who will be performing in NYC on her 30th birthday), Katy Perry, Jonas Brothers, BTS, Billie Eilish, Sam Smith, Camila Cabello, Halsey, 5 Seconds of Summer and more.
