Taylor Swift Releases Romantic Title Track Off New Album 'Lover'

Taylor Swift is in L-O-V-E and she wants everyone to know!

The singer blessed fans with a new song just days before her highly-anticipated seventh studio album, Lover, is released and I for one am deceased!

Swift released, "Lover," the title track to the album at midnight on Friday (August 16) much to the anticipation of fans. The song is a beautifully-crafted ode to love and her beau, Joe Alwyn. Ladies and gentlemen/Will you please stand/With every guitar string scar on my hand/I take this magnetic force of a man/To by my Lover she sings in part of the song giving off MAJOR wedding vow vibes.

The whole song is an unapologetic and raw glimpse into her otherwise private love life and, as always, contains many clues and dare I say tidbits of growth from previous songs. Even the lyric video is a nod to past songs like "Call It What You Want" where she sings "I'm laughing with my lover, making forts under covers." One thing's for sure, Taylor Swift really is doing better than she ever was.

The 29-year-old chart topper released "The Archer" last month as a gift to fans because of a tradition with her Swifties and track five. She also revealed new information about her upcoming album including the addition of her own personal diary pages to be included in the deluxe versions — seriously, just take my money!

It's now only a matter of days until we get to here Lover in full after months of Easter egg hunting, Instagram caption de-coding, and so much more. "Lover" joins "The Archer," "You Need To Calm Down," and "ME!" as the songs she's shared off her album.

On top of releasing a new album, Swift has her hands full with her role as Bombalurina in the new film Cats, her first performance at the MTV VMAs in four years, and a cool partnership with Capital One.

Swift will be detailing even more information about the songs on her new album in the coming days before its release!
