Justin Bieber Teases New Collab With Ed Sheeran — Listen Here

Friday (May 10) can't get here soon enough!

Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber are dropping their highly-anticipated new single "I Don't Care," and from the sound of the teaser JB recently posted on social media, it's a HIT!

On Monday (May 6), Justin teased a portion of the track where he's heard singing, "We at a party we don't want to be at... "over a pop beat before the music cuts off. (Listen to the teaser HERE) He later shared what appears to be additional lyrics to the track on Instagram that read, "Care/ My Baby Yeah/ Things Disappear/ Making me Feel/ I am Somebody/ the Bad Nights/ My Baby Yeah."

Ed also got in on the song promo, posting an update on the track's release date to Instagram on Tuesday (May 7). "My track with @justinbieber ‘I Don’t Care’ comes out this Friday," he wrote.

As fans know, the longtime friends — who have worked together before, Ed co-wrote Justin's 2015 single "Love Yourself" — have been teasing this project for weeks. It all began last month when Ed's manager, Stuart Camp, posted a photo of the 28-year-old singer standing in front of a green screen while staring at the camera. "This guy! Something is happening," he captioned the post.

It didn't take long before fans realized that Stuart's caption and photo was an almost exact replica of a post Justin's manager, Scooter Braun, posted the week prior. "This guy! Something is happening. Love it," Scooter captioned the similar photo of Justin staring at the camera in front of a green screen.

Justin and Ed then confirmed that they had something on the way as Ed posted a photoshopped image of their green screen shots with the caption, "10. Photoshop spoon."

The timing of Justin and Ed's collab comes weeks after Justin returned to the stage after a two-year hiatus. The 25-year-old singer hit the Coachella stage for a surprise performance during Ariana Grande's Weekend Two headlining set, and announced that new music was on the way.

After performing his 2015 hit "Sorry," he told the crowd, "I haven’t been on stage in like, two years. I came out here, I had no idea I was going to be on this stage tonight. Absolutely no idea." Justin continued, "I had to get my groove back, I had to get my swag back… And by the way – album coming soon."
