Carey Hart Praises Wife Pink In Heartfelt 13th Wedding Anniversary Note

These married misfits are 13 years strong and counting!

On Wednesday (January 9), Carey Hart expressed how thankful he is to have celebrated more than a decade with wife Pink on the day of their anniversary this week. To honor the moment, the athlete wrote a sentimental tribute to the love of his life on Instagram.

"Can’t believe it’s our 13th wedding anniversary. Who would have thought two misfits like us could pull it off!!!" the motorcycle star captioned a photograph of him and the pop star posing for the camera, all smiles, in front of an ocean landscape. "I’m very grateful for you, baby. We have created an amazing life and family together. I love you. #17YearsStrong."

Hart's heartfelt words come days after he and his family hit the slopes on Mammoth Mountain.

While Pink and Hart are certainly proud of their love story — which involves the birth of their two children: Willow Sage and Jameson Moon — the pair had to weather a few storms to reach their happy ending.

Hart first met the "Try" singer-songwriter in 2001 when he was riding in Philadelphia's X Games. They dated for two years before calling it quits, then reconciled when the 43-year-old proposed to her during a race at Mammoth Lakes in 2005 and later wed Pink the following year.

After suffering a separation in 2008, the two found love again through marriage counseling and began their family with the birth of their first child, a daughter, in November 2010. Six years they would expand their brood with a son named Jameson.
