Lance Bass Approached by HGTV About Working On 'Brady Bunch' House

While there's no going back on the bidding war for the Brady Bunch house, HGTV has offered Lance Bass the opportunity to be part of the famed property's future, as per TMZ.

Sources close to the whole ordeal revealed to TMZ that HGTV has privately reached out to the former *NSYNC singer on Tuesday (August 7) after he publically reacted to the news that a "corporate buyer" beat him out in the "shady" deal. HGTV and Bass are scheduled to meet next week to discuss getting him involved in the network's plans for the house, particularly their goal to restore its interior to its 1970s form. Even though the details surrounding the team-up are unknown, the opportunities are limitless for Bass, who could be involved in anything from production to even hosting.

Meanwhile, the plans to remodel the interior seem to be what Bass wanted to do from the beginning. Insiders close to the former pop singer revealed that his original plan involved trashing the inside of the Brady Bunch house and recreating the famed TV set.

In his previous social media reveal, Bass detailed the inner workings that led to him losing out on the iconic television property. "The agent representing the estate informed us we made the winning bid (which was WAY over the asking price) after the final deadline for all offers had passed—even writing up the 'winning bid' for my team after informing me of the good news. Isn’t a deadline a deadline?" he explained. "This was a dream come true for me and I spent the night celebrating amongst friends, family, and fans alike. The next day, due to 'unforeseen circumstances' the same agent informed us that there’s another Corporate Buyer (Hollywood studio) who wants the house at any cost."
