Is Harry Styles Dropping Hints at a Country Music Crossover?

Harry Styles stopped by to chat about his feature film debut in Christopher Nolan's British war movie Dunkirk, out in theaters now.

The 23-year-old One Directioner opened up about working on the project. For five months he ultimately gave up writing and recording music for his debut self-titled album, Harry Styles. He told us that the filming was so intense, with a lot of drama and big reactions, that it became his whole life. Any spare time was spent on some well-deserved beauty sleep. Harry even admitted he had fun playing a sort of 'a-hole' character. 😂

"I haven't been moved like that in the cinema for quite some time," he said about Dunkirk's final product.

Harry also celebrated being announced as one of our iHeart Radio Music Festival artists! He'll be performing in Vegas on the first night of our #iHeartFestival along side Coldplay, The Weeknd, Chris Stapelton, Pink, Thirty Seconds to Mars and David Guetta. 💯

When Elvis Duran asked the "Sign Of The Times" singer which iHeartRadio Music Festival artist he would most like to collaborate with, he didn't hesitate to name country singer Chris Stapleton

"I'm a massive fan of Chris Stapleton," Harry admitted. "I think I'd have to say him. I love him and his voice and his everything."

Hum... is Harry thinking about crossing over with a country album, perhaps? Kacey Musgraves will be opening for him on several of his North American tour dates. 👀 Maybe she'll give him some tips!👌

We PRAY 🙏 that Harry Styles and Chris Stapleton end up on stage together at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas! It would be EVERYTHING. 🙌

Harry Styles will be hitting the road to tour in September visiting cities worldwide in North America, Europe, Asia and more on his Harry Styles: Live on Tour. Until then, we'll be waiting for his next single, "Two Ghosts," to drop on July 25th!
