Michelle Visage Was Almost A Cast Member Of Elvis Duran's Morning Show

Michelle Visage, a mainstay judge on RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE and RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE ALL STARS, joins Elvis Duran and the Morning Show Tuesday to talk about the finale of the 5th season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars happening this Friday and our Drag Spectacular show happening tonight at 7pm ET on Elvis Duran Show's YouTube channel.

Besides Ru, Visage is the longest running judge. “I love every second of it," says Visage to Elvis, "For me there's no better job than judging the world’s most talented drag queens." Visage says when people go into drag "it's a freedom," that gets brought out of them. Visage says if she had a show like RuPaul's growing up "I wouldn't have been so hard on myself."

It turns out Visage and Elvis almost worked together in radio. Visage and RuPaul had a show in morning's and Elvis Duran was approached by their radio station to join their show, which was illegal under his contract at Z100. The program director at Z100, Tom Poleman, made Elvis stay and do morning's at Z100 instead. However, that doesn't mean Visage and Elvis have missed their chance to work together. "I bleed radio, I love it, I miss it."

Listen to Visage's full interview with Elvis Duran and the Morning Show below and be sure to catch her at our Drag Spectacular tonight at 7pmET as well as on RuPaul's season finale this Friday.
