Hello Morning Show Listeners,
As I am writing this final blog, a tear just rolled down my face. I'm sad because this is my last day as an intern for Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.
These past three semesters have been a whirlwind. The first time I got this internship, it felt like I was dreaming, but I somehow my dream continued for three semesters.
Just like a lot of listeners, I grew up listening to the show. I bonded with my dad over the phone taps, especially Mr. Michael Oppenheimer. This show has always held a special place in my heart.
I have learned so much here. There are some secrets, legally I cannot tell, like that Greg T is always roaming the office without pants and the body of the lady Straight Nate murdered is in our promotions closet. Shh, don't tell anyone.
What I can tell you is, that the members of this morning show are some of the kindest people I have every had the pleasure working with. At times it is a high-stress environment, and tensions can run high, but at the end of the day everyone gets along.
I would have to say my favorite moment of being a part of this dysfunctional family was when I got to met Michael Buble because well he is so freakin' handsome. The next best thing was my second breakfast, the food that was brought up to the show. Who would have thought having a burger at 7 am would be so delicious?
There were some rough parts of 2016, but this place made me realize how incredibly #blessed I am.
I could write pages and pages on how much I love this place and how everyone on this show has impacted my life forever.
Here's the only plus about not working here next semester is not having to get up at 3 am to get to work on time, I can sleep in yay!
Learn from me and just follow your dreams because they might just come true!
Whatever holiday you celebrate I hope you have an amazing one.
Make 2017 your bitch as Elvis likes to say.
Peace Out Bitches
