Kelly Clarkson stopped by to perform her new single, "Love So Soft," off of her upcoming album, Meaning of Life, out on October 27th.

The 35-year-old mother of two opened up about splitting from her former label and how happy she is with Atlantic Records. After 15+ years in the biz, Kelly feels like she's finally making the record she's always wanted to make. Meaning Of Life will stray from her usual pop sound and delve more into the soulful Etta James and Aretha Franklin vibes she first captured hearts with on American Idol in 2002.

"I hit 30 and everything is like firing on all cylinder. My 20s were so hard. On my 30th birthday, I feel like my shouldes just relaxed and everything just started falling in place."

Kelly went on to say that she is loving life as a thirtysomething woman, much more so than she did in her 20s. Turning 30, meeting her husband, getting married and having a family has turned it around for Kelly who feels like a more honest version of herself than ever before!

Early next year Kelly will test her talents as a coach on NBC's The Voice. She's nervous but excited to get back into the singing-competition TV game!
