On the morning show, I remind you every hour to take a deep breath. I do this as much for myself as I do for you! I'll go the better portion of an hour realizing that I haven't really breathed deeply at all. Your body needs oxygen to function, obviously, and breathing deeply relieves stress! So I'm loving the "Breathe" app. It sends you multiple reminders a day to stop and take a deep breath. You can set it to remind you as often as you like, and you can program different positive affirmations to pop up as your reminder! Every time my phone chimes reminding me to breathe, it seems to come at just the right moment and calms me right down.
