Emily Blunt is praising Taylor Swift for the sweet way the superstar singer hyped up her daughter when they met.
During a recent appearance on a radio show, The Quiet Place star and Swiftie revealed the memorable time she met the "Fortnight" singer and the impact she had on one of her daughters specifically, per Page Six. After noting that Swift was "the nicest" and "was so nice to my kids," Blunt shared an anecdote of how "very cool" Swift hyped up her oldest child, 10-year-old Hazel. In addition to Hazel, Blunt shares 7-year-old daughter Violet with her husband, John Krasinski.
"My oldest kid had just cut all of her hair off, this very short haircut that she was very self-conscious about," she said. "And Taylor Swift, goes like, 'God, look at you, you're just like this '60s Beatnik cool kid. I just, I love your style."
Like any Swiftie would be, Blunt said Hazel was speechless after the compliment, which made the Edge of Tomorrow actress "melt."
"I thought my child was going to faint," she said. "It was the best thing anyone has done for my child."
The Devil Wears Prada actress also recently spoke about the incredible gift her The Fall Guy co-star Ryan Gosling gave her daughters, joking that thanks to the Barbie actor, she's going to have to "live with Ken forever."
